I wasn't even told my Auntie Ann passed away. I always enjoyed her sense of humor, fancy shoes, and could dance! Last time we visited was in the Florida pan handle for a funeral. We sat together and talked about years lost as I live in south east Florida. She had a zest for life that many do not have at any age. We even used to lunch when she was living on the east coast of Florida. Her positivity for life gave me inspiration, and she always made me laugh. A great spirit, keenly aware of personalities, and had an obsession with eyes. Probably no one knows that except Chris Farrin. She used to say to me "Words can lie, but eyes don't"! I'll miss her very much..

Ann , I will miss our weekly chats . The last time I saw you was in 2015 when I came home to Boston for a month. You were home and I woke you up at 9 am. We had a lovely lunch together and spoke of all our wonderful family memories. We cried we laughed and it was amazing . I said the word amazing and she said that’s what they call me at the senior housing. She spoke of her children Brian and Paul always with their great accomplishments in life and how proud she was. Then of course all her grandchildren which she cherished so dearly. Her memories and wonderful conversations will be in my mind and my heart forever.
I love you Ann and will miss you very much! I will think of you often with a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. I’m so glad she was able to speak with me last week and I told her I loved her.
My thoughts and prayers go to her beautiful family and friends up north. Good Bye my friend !
