Obituary for William R. Alsop
Littleton, MA
William Randall Alsop, fondly referred to as “Bill” of Littleton, MA passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the age of 71.
Bill was born in Elizabeth, NJ, son of the late William G. and Winifred (Randall) Alsop. He was the best friend and loving husband of 25 years to Susan (Gerrold) Alsop; step-father to Amy McLaughlin and her husband Joseph McLaughlin of Woburn, MA; grandfather of Joseph and Dylan McLaughlin of Woburn, MA; brother of David Alsop of North Carolina, Katy Dawson and uncle to nephews Nate and Karl Dawson of California and brother to Barbara Alsop of Vermont.
Bill was known for his love of golf. Many of his friends over the years were made through golf or work. Our thoughts are with all those currently battling the Covid-19 Virus and hearts breaking for those who have been lost.
Do to the Covid-19 and the safety for all, a gathering of Bill’s family and friends to celebrate his life will be announced as soon as permitted under the guidelines of the state health officials.
