It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of William E Trudrung, 76, on April 4th at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA.
Bill was unique, one of a kind, and much loved.
Bill was born in California. He moved to Stow, MA, in 1979, with his mother Martha, with whom he lived until her death in 1990. They were welcomed and supported by the Town of Stow’s Council on Aging. Bill worked for several years at Friendly’s. Most recently he worked at Acton’s Stop and Shop.
Bill loved cars, action movies, his cat Darla and particularly his family. He has left behind his sister Georgia Winfrey of Boxborough, MA, his nieces Pamela McBride of Templeton, Wendy Smith of Worcester, Julie Lutz of Ashby, and his nephew Richard Winfrey Jr of Indiana. He also leaves 13 great nephews and nieces and 3 great-great nephews and niece.
He leaves many friends who will miss his kindness, his generosity, and his unique sense of humor.
Because of Bill’s generous heart, he donated to many charities, especially those supporting children. If you would like to make a donation in his honor, he would be pleased.
Calling hours are from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Saturday, April 15 in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave., (Rte 111) Acton. Burial will be at a later date in the South Cemetery in Boxborough.
