Virginia C. "Ginny" (Pizza) Paul, 95, a lifelong Maynard, MA resident, died peacefully Saturday, March 27, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Paul, to whom she was married 57 years at the time of his passing in September 2006.

Born at home in Maynard, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Marion Pizza. A graduate of Maynard High School, Mrs. Paul was a cashier manager at the First National for most of her career before retiring. A parishioner of St. Bridget's Church and the former St. Casimir's Church in Maynard, Mrs. Paul centered her life around her husband, John. They enjoyed travel with their close friends,and were very active with the Knights of Columbus, both in the Maynard Council #2121, the McSweeney Assembly #400, and statewide. She loved dogs, and especially enjoyed time spent with her sister, Connie, her favorite nephew, Michael, and special time with Sydney.

Mrs. Paul was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Concetta "Connie" Waldron, Michael Pizza, Lena Foster Cook, Anthony Pizza and Angelina "Rose" Soares. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, dear friends and their families.

In accordance with her wishes, services are private. A gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial gifts to the Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley, 212 Great Road, Maynard, MA 01754, online at bgcav.org
