Obituary for Steven T. McAleer
Steven T. McAleer, 36, of Boston, formerly of Maynard, a carpenter in the construction industry, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He is the beloved son of Ellen (Murphy) and Steven McAleer of Maynard.
An avid sports fan of the N.E. Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, Steven was an animal lover who enjoyed camping, fishing, and movies.
He is survived by his parents Ellen and Steve; his sister Kathryn Warren and her husband Philip; his Aunts and Uncles Ruth Ann Riley, Walter Murphy and his wife Gera, Tom McAleer, Frances McAleer, Rosemarie Dunnigan and her husband Michael, Nancy Herrick and her husband Bruce, Jean Keen and her husband Todd. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Albert and Elaine Murphy; Thomas and Rose McAleer.
Due to restrictions imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, visitation at the Acton Funeral Home, his funeral Mass in St. Bridget Church in Maynard and burial at Glenwood Cemetery are all private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steven may be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
