Ruth Halloran died peacefully December 17, 2020, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family’s love. Formally of Newton, she was well educated at the French School, and could still say her prayers in French. She had fond memories of playing at Victory Field on the Charles River.

She was predeceased by the love of her life, Robert E. Halloran. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before Bob passed. They raised their five children in Acton. Sadly, she was also predeceased by her son Stephen Halloran of Groton, who left behind his wife and four children. Another heartbreak was the loss of her treasured son, Robert Jr.

She is survived by her son Michael R. Halloran and his wife Marjorie of Shirley, her daughter Maureen Peltier and husband Paul of Lunenburg, and her son John Halloran, also of Shirley. She is blessed with 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and loved by her sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
