Obituary for Rosalie Caiger Sargent

Rosalie Caiger Sargent of Lunenburg, MA died on January 19, 2020. She was born Feburary 27th, 1932 in Concord, MA, daughter of Judge Edward B. Caiger and Priscilla Forbush Caiger. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Senghas of Burlington, VT.
She grew up in Concord, MA and received a degree from Lasell College. She and her loving husband of sixty years, Robert B. Sargent lived in Acton MA. Rosalie worked at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard, MA for decades. She took early retirement and pursued antiquing and life on a lake in Lunenburg, MA. Rosalie always had a smile for everyone. She’s affectionately called Rollie by her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband and their two daughters Lee Delea and Star Sargent Dargin, Star’s husband Stephen Cabral; four grandchildren, Michael J. Dargin and his wife Kathryn Dargin, of Winthrop, MA, Kevin Dargin of Newmarket, NH, Sean Delea of Manchester, NH and Connor Delea of Manchester, NH.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton, for visiting hours on Friday, January 31st from 3:00-5:00 P.M. with a brief remembrance ceremony at 4:00pm. Interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is private.
