Obituary for Richard D. Pacy

Acton/Littleton: Richard (Pace) Pacy, age 90, died December 10, 2022 comfortably at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA. Richard was born and raised in Littleton in an area known as "Pacyville". Richard is predeceased by his beloved wife Bettie (Hardy) Noble Pacy who sadly died unexpectedly on August 20, 2022. Richard leaves behind four children and their spouses who love him dearly: Cheryl Nichols and her husband David Nichols, Donna Hudson and her partner Earl Rivers, Mark Pacy, and Kim Pacy and her husband Jorge Cortes, as well as three grandchildren, Justin Pacy, James Nichols, and Tarah Hudson, and step children, Jean Noble and her husband William, Thomas Noble, and William Noble. Richard also leaves his siblings, James Pacy, Jane Power and her husband Robert Sr., Diane Leone and her partner Charlie Oakman, Dennis Pacy, many nieces, nephews, and cousins who love him and will miss him enormously. Richard was previously married to Myrna (Ingham Pacy) Simpson, whom he had his four children with and remained lifelong close friends with. He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph and David Pacy.

Richard was a lifelong Carpenter and along with his son Mark, built and remodeled many houses in the Acton/Concord, MA area.  Chess was a long-time love of Richard’s and he played in many tournaments and studied strategy endlessly.

One of Richard’s passions has always been old Western movies, especially colorized movies, of which he had a collection that he treasured. He also had a wide range of music that he loved, including old Country-Western  music, and will be remembered through much of the music he loved.

Richard will be warmly remembered for his silly sense of humor, his beautiful smile, and his kind heart.

Visiting hours for Richard will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14th from 1:00-5:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave, Acton, MA 01720,A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 1:00PM at Westlawn Cemetery in Littleton, MA, where he will rest with Bettie and many family members.
