Obituary for Qiongfan Long
我们亲爱的妈妈、外婆、奶奶，龙琼藩，因病医治无效,于2022年四月一曰在美国波士顿去世。龙琼藩1936年4月24日出生于四川宜宾，少年时好学上进。她毕业于贵州师范学院，而后35年间在贵阳医学专科学校及遵义卫生学校担任化学教师及高级讲师。1991年退休后来到美国与子女共同生活。龙琼藩在工作上兢兢业业，多次被评为先进教师。她热爱科学，并以此教育她的子女以学习及从事科学研究为荣。她与丈夫杨崇尧婚姻美满幸福。不论在早期艰难的日子还是后来富足的生活中，始终相互关爱，扶持。他们夫妻之间的美好感情让人感动。
龙琼藩生性善良，待人真诚，总以单纯的目光看待这个世界。她满足于简单的家庭生活，喜爱美食，音乐娱乐节目，也到过世界各地旅游。
她信仰上帝，常存感恩之心。我们祝她一路走好，在天家永享平安喜乐。在那里她耳聪目明，再无疾病的纠缠！她会有新的、健康活泼的生命，并与她相爱一生的人团娶！
Qiongfan Long was born on April 24th, 1936, to a large family of five siblings in Yibin, China. From a young age, she had a passion for the sciences, particularly chemistry, taking inspiration from her role model, Marie Curie. Following her aspirations to become a scientist, she graduated university with a degree in Chemistry at the top of her class in the city of Guiyang, where she met fellow classmate and future husband, Chongyao Yang. After the two of them married, they later moved to Zunyi where she gave birth to two children, Hua and Wei. While raising a tightly knit family, she also dedicated herself to a career as a chemistry teacher in healthcare education. She touched thousands of students’ lives, caring deeply about their success, especially providing compassion and support for her underprivileged students. After a 35-year career of teaching, she retired and immigrated to the United States where she enjoyed retirement close to her children and six granddaughters. On April 1st, 2022, she passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family.
