I am heartbroken. Pete was one of the nicest, the funniest and best man I had the pleasure to know. We lost touch many years ago but he always held a special place in my heart. We met at Data General and we were always together. Even though it’s been a long time, I always had the fondest memories of him. My condolences to his family. RIP Pete. You will be forever loved and missed.

Pete helped me get through the dark days and weeks after my own daughter (and Pete's niece) Alison unexpectedly died in November 2020. He called me everyday here at my home in Germany to check on how I was dealing with the loss of my daughter and offering whatever he could to help me. I will always be thankful and remember forever his concern for me during that dark period in my life.

This was really hard news to hear. I had the pleasure of working with Pete at Akorri and NetApp years ago. Some of my favorite memories back then were from when we would play poker or have lunch together. He was a great colleague and friend who will be dearly missed.

I am stunned and have no words other than you lived life to its fullest, always surrounded by loving, caring friends and family. Rest in peace, Pete. - Lisa

This is so hard to accept. Pete and I were very close at one time, but life evlolves and we lost touch. He was a true friend and I owe him much. He was a caring person and onethat everyone could trust. He helped me through some personal challenge just because that's the way he was. I will struggle with this for a long time. But I do have many happy memories of his wit, wisdom, and plenty of silliness. I will cherrish those memories.
