Obituary for Patricia Dellicicchi

Patricia Dellicicchi, age 77, of Acton, formerly of Brighton. Passed away peacefully on Thursday January 25th with family after a long illness. Beloved wife to Alfred Dellicicchi. Devoted mother to Tricia Sullivan and her husband Mason, Katie Rocklin, Alfred Dellicicchi and his wife Jennifer. She is predeceased by her parents Catherine and James B. O'Leary of Brighton, and her sister Catherine "Mitzie" Rich of Maynard. Patricia is survived by her brother James J. O'Leary and his wife Marybeth. Pat was a loving grandmother to three grandchildren Rocco, Hannah and Sarah. Pat was a dear aunt to her many nieces and nephews, a caring sister-in-law and a light to all of those who knew her. Pat was a lifelong advocate for law enforcement, having lost her father James when he was killed in the line of duty at just 46 years old (Boston Police, EOW 8-2-63). Pat spent her life caring for the well being of others, whether it was at home with extended family, as a nurse in many local hospitals, or with friends & family across the country. She was a beautiful source of love and compassion for those in need of an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, and she will be deeply missed. Her funeral mass will be Saturday February 10th at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary: 89 Arlington St, Acton, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The arrangements were handled by Acton Funeral Home, Acton, MA.
