Nadine Zobel Kush, 68, of Acton, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Nadine will be greatly missed and remembered by her daughter and closest friends.

Nadine was born on June 13, 1952 in Middletown, NY and was the daughter of late Charles W. Zobel, Jr. (Bill) and late Grace V. (Kunath) Zobel and sister of late Anita E. Zobel. She is survived by her loving daughter, Liane E. Kush, of Waltham, MA. Nadine’s greatest passion and accomplishment was raising her only child as a single mother.

Nadine grew up in Pine Bush, NY. She was a graduate of Brockport State University of NY with a degree in Psychology. She then found fulfillment in teaching troubled teenagers at a runaway shelter. Later in life she earned her Paralegal Certificate from Bentley University, which she utilized as a Paralegal in Patent Law for many years of her career until her retirement.

Nadine loved animals, especially her dogs throughout her life. She enjoyed watching the birds, turkeys, and squirrels at her bird feeder. She cherished her garden and being able to use her homegrown herbs in her cooking. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her loved ones. She had a talent for home design and remodeled her bathrooms and kitchen with her inspiration and ideas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1st from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Acton Funeral Home at 470 Massachusetts Avenue Acton, MA 01720. All are welcome. Due to the pandemic regulations, masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
