Obituary for Merrie McNulty
Merrie Gwendolyn Foote McNulty , Mickey, 84, of Concord, passed away on November 23, 2022. She was born in Hastings, Nebraska. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Donovan Foote and Marie Kealy Foote. She is survived by her brothers Donovan Foote Jr. and Terence Foote, Mickey was the wife of Lawrence McNulty ( Larry) for 54 years.
She loved her family and the outdoors, Her favorite place to visit was Colorado. She danced, hilked, swam, traveled, skied, spoke fluent French, and rode horses.
Her Education brought her to the East coast to work on her Master’s Degree in Education from Boston College. She taught French in Acton before stopping to raise her family. She built a village of friends so close that they became family. She was a loving mother and Nana and a talented artist.
She will be dearly missed by her children and their families, John McNulty and Laura Swajan Fistori and his sons John and Danny McNulty, Lawrence McNulty Jr. ( Duffy ) and Joy Giglio McNulty and their children Matthew and Abigail, and Marie McNulty Ross and James Ross and their children Gwen, Corinne, and Lauren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, December 2nd from 4:00-7:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 3rd at 10:00AM in St. Bridget’s Church, 1 Percival Street Maynard. Burial will follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery.
