Obituary for Linda Marie Autio
Medford, MA - Linda Marie Autio (1959 to 2022) passed away peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, aged 63, on May 3, 2022. She was surrounded by loving family members.
Linda graduated from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She continued using her artistic abilities as a licensed hair stylist.
Linda is survived by her life-long companion, mother, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family. She was predeceased by her father, Ahti, and many aunts and uncles. Her family will miss her organizational skills, greatly needed at every large family gathering.
Linda loved her cats and rescued many, deserving felines. One of her great loves was gardening; filling her home and yard with plants. She was active in a Boston-area horticultural society and attended many garden tours.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Interment will be in the family plot at the Roadside Cemetery in Friendship, Maine.
