Lauren Grady, 66, of Boxborough, passed away at home on April 15th, 2022, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Lauren is survived by her loving husband Richard of Boxborough, her son Dennis and his wife Sara of Swampscott, her daughter Brianna and her husband Chris of Shrewsbury, and her son Kevin and his wife Susannah of Acton. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Aidan and Owen of Swampscott, Evan and Abigail of Shrewsbury, and Kaya and James of Acton.
Lauren grew up in Braintree and was married to her high school sweetheart for 45 years. She had a long and meaningful career as an elementary school teacher in her hometown of Boxborough, where she taught and mentored countless students and colleagues. Lauren’s commitment to helping people has touched many lives. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sibling, and friend, and someone who you could always count on.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, April 21st from 4:00-7:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rt. 111) Acton. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00Am in Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington Street Acton.
