Obituary for Kenneth Hunt

Kenneth Charles Hunt, a longtime resident of Maynard. Passed away peacefully at his home on August 9, 2022. He was 75 years old. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Nelson) Hunt to whom he would have been married 50 years this October.

Kenneth was born in Lebanon, NH son of the late Charles and Jean (Hough) Hunt. He was raised and educated in Enfield, NH and was a graduate of Enfield High School. He and Susan moved to Naples, Florida and were married on October 9, 1972. Kenneth worked for a time in FL as an electrician before the Hunts moved back to Maynard where they would raise their family. Kenneth worked for Nuclear Metals in Concord and also Littleton Lumber as a delivery driver. When he wasn't working he enjoyed anything outside. He liked to take walks and time spent in his yard. More than anything, he enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, especially attending their baseball games.

In addition to his wife Susan, Kenneth is survived by his two children, Douglas Hunt and his wife Kelly of Shirley and Karyn Agwanda of Worcester. He was the loving grandfather of Nathan, Noah and Christian. He also leaves his two sisters, Charlene Levesque and her husband David of Rowley and Suzanne Fiske and her husband John of Canaan, NH.

All are invited to an hour of visitation with the family on Tuesday, August 16th from 9:00-10:00AM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte 111) Acton. A graveside service will follow at 11:00AM in Glenwood Cemetery, Great Road, Maynard.
