December 22, 1947 ~ September 3, 2022
Kathleen Susan (Roche) Kennedy leaved behind her husband, Richard; daughter Lauren, son Robert, and grandson Logan.
Kathy was born in Waltham, MA, the daughter of the late George and Lucy Roche, and was the sister to Carolyn Conrad, Susan Cassidy, Tom Roche and John Roche.
Kathy met her husband and love of her life, Richard, at 14 years old, the two married 5 years later and were happily married for 55 years. Both coming from large families, Kathy was immediately embraced by Richard's parents and 8 siblings, becoming a sister to them all.
Dick and Kathy moved out west to California in 1977, and the two set out an incredible journey together. Kathy was always quick to make friends wherever she went and left her mark on people's hearts. Kathy loved her friends dearly, but she loved her family above all else. She adored and was so proud of her husband and children, and could be heard bragging about her grandson, Logan, everywhere she went.
Kathy loved family gatherings, reunions, holiday dinners and anything that would bring her family together. She always traveled back east with her daughter, Lauren, so she could spend some time with family back there. She enjoyed playing games, doing crossword puzzles and watching sports on TV. Kathy's favorites included the fall foliage back east,Christmas movies and music, which always gave her a good cry. She especially enjoyed cooking holiday meals for all to gather around and enjoy.
Kathy was loved by so many and she will remain in the hearts of those she touched. God has graced us with an amazing gift of Kathy's laugh and smile which will now grace the halls of heaven. We all love you!!!
The services for Kathy will be Sept. 23, 2022 in Yorba Linda, California.
