Obituary for Jeanne Blackwell

Jeanne Blackwell, a lifelong resident of both Acton and Boxborough, passed away unexpectedly on November 13th, 2022 at her home. She was 32 years old.

Jeanne was born in Framingham, daughter of Mary Kane and Dennis Blackwell. She was raised in Acton and educated in the Acton-Boxborough School District.

More than anything, Jean loved her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughter Isabella Dalli and son James Herbst. She is also survived by her mother Mary Kane as well as her brothers and sisters Darren, Denise, Deanna, William, Linda, Joanne, Elizabeth, and Marilyn; along with a large loving extended group of family and friends. She is predeceased by her father, the late Dennis Blackwell.

While Jeanne’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Jeanne in a way that honors her spirit. Her family invites the community to join them in a Celebration of Life Ceremony. It will take place at the Acton Funeral Home (Rte. 111) on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 from 3-6pm.

Please come as you are as that is how Jeanne loved and embraced you whether you were in khakis or camo and bring along a beautiful memory to share with her family so she can live on in the hearts of those who love her most.

Lastly, if you can please send along a 1 or 2 page pdf with pictures and stories that you would like to share with her family to inmemoryofjeanneblackwell@ gmail.com as the family is going to put together a Mother’s Memories book so her life stories can be passed down to her children. Please note that this is an ongoing project for the family and there is no rush to send along your stories.
