Obituary for Janet (Murphy) Dewire
Janet M. (Murphy) Dewire of Acton, died April 30, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Edward F. Dewire. Loving mother of Jeanne M. Dewire and her partner Richard James of Maynard and Edward F. Dewire Jr. (Ted) and his wife Carrie of Acton. Sister of Vivian Terella, Marian Neight, Hilda Garcia and George Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dewire was born on Martha's Vineyard and lived in Acton with her family since 1964. She worked for many years as an assistant teacher in Daycare.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday May 3rd from 9-11AM in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. A service will be follow at 11am in the funeral home. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Road, Acton.
