Obituary for Harry J. "Jay" Ledgard II

Harry Jay Ledgard
10/28/60 - 1/30/21

Jay passed away after a short but brave battle against stomach cancer. He lived in Sterling MA for the last 25 years raising his children Zachary and Devynn along with his wife of 32 years Perri Levy. He valued nothing more than his children and always had great relationships with them.

In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his sister Elizabeth Prentiss, niece Abigail Prentiss and nephew Noah Prentiss; his sister and brother-in-law Theresa and Scott Bates, nieces and nephews Laura Bates, Sarah and Cole Reich, and Daniel Bates; brother Jeffrey Ledgard; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Shelley and Steve McCloskey, niece and nephew Rachel McCloskey and Phil Bader, Ray Feller and Michael McCloskey, grandnephew Leonardo Feller-McCloskey and grandniece Ramona Feller-McCloskey.

Jay was an avid golfer, boater and friend. He loved Frye Island ME where he had a second home for the last 21 years. He made friends wherever he went and he still had close friends from his childhood and high school years. He was also a collector of items such as vintage clock radios.

He worked at Century-Tywood in Holliston for the last 21 years as Vice President of Sales and also had close friends at work. He enjoyed working and valued out of the box thinking. He was an inventor and had his name on patents during his career.

Jay was a volunteer most of his adult life. He coached hockey and softball and volunteered at Frye Island every year.
