Obituary for Eleanor Hanson Irion
Eleanor Hanson Irion passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on March 27th, 2020.
She was born in Glen Ellyn, IL and had fond memories of Chicago, The Art Institute she attended there and her favorite department store, Marshall Field's.
Art was her joy and she loved creating with oils, watercolor and quilting. She was an avid volunteer when living in Montclair NJ, at the historical Crane House.
Her life was shared with her husband Gene for 67 years. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia I. Overgaag of Acton, MA and Martha T. Irion of North Pownal, VT. She was the proud Oma to her grandchildren, Molly P. Lindbergh and Thomas W. Overgaag.
