On February 11, 2022, Creighton Rice Nichols passed away peacefully at age 89 at his loving community home in Newburyport, MA with family by his side.
Born on November 7, 1932 in Brockton, he was the son of Arthur and Elizabeth Nichols. Creighton and Joan, his loving wife of 67 years raised their family in Framingham. He was a devoted husband and father, a fun neighbor and a loyal employee and friend. He was a faith-filled member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and cherished his years of service and all the friendships established there.
Creighton is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Suzanne and Edward Cunningham of Berlin, MA, Deborah and Frank Cappucci of Wildwood, FL, Jennifer and Walker Royce of Boxboro, MA, three grandsons, Edward III, Colin and Brian and two great-grandchildren, Creighton and London Cunningham.
A celebration of Life service will be held for both Creighton & Joan Nichols on Saturday, June 11, at 11:00 am at The Plymouth Church in Framingham, 87 Edgell Road, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
