I will always cherish my memories of Charlie and I in the Dedham Militia during the Bicentennial. I often enjoyed talking politics with him over coffee in their kitchen over the years. I was fortunate enough to have a nice phone call with him just a week ago and he sounded great and was in good spirits talking about coming down to visit me in Florida. I would have greatly liked that but knew in my heart it was highly unlikely but encouraged him about it just the same. Charlie was a kind, caring, gentle man and I will miss him greatly. I take comfort in knowing his suffering has ended and he will be with Vivian and Leslie. Good bye old friend Captain Nader, I hope you are at peace in heaven. Richie Kelm
