Carolyn A. (West) Turner, 89, a long time Acton resident, MA died Friday April 3, 2020 in Concord, MA.

Carolyn was born in Brookline, MA, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Amber West. She was married for 61 years to Maj. George W. Turner, US Army Retired. A graduate of Brookline High School and Fisher Junior College, she began her work career as a court reporter and then years later spent many years as an organist for several local churches.

Reading books was also a favorite pastime. She would try a wide variety of books; she always wanted to expand her mind.
