Carol Elaine Malson, a longtime resident of Acton and formerly of Nashua, died at Emerson Hospital on Sunday May 8, 2022, from complications related to Parkinson’s Disease.
Born in Concord MA on February 27, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Francis “Guy” Malson and Doris (Goss) Malson. She is pre-deceased by her brother Jeffrey Malson. She was a graduate of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School and continued her education at Middlesex Community College and Hesser College. She worked for many years at Sentry Insurance and at Hewlett Packard in Customer Support Services until her retirement. She was a volunteer for many years for Habitat for Humanity.
Carol never met a chocolate she didn’t like and family get togethers always included her decadent homemade creations. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting. Her handiwork resulted in many treasured quilts and wall hang hangings. She was a follower of Nascar Racing and Monster Truck Competitions.
She will be missed by her combined Johnson-LeSage families and her god daughter Karen Johnson and her family of Virginia.
Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in West Acton. In her memory, please consider a donation to the Acton Council on Aging.
