A career salesman prior to his retirement, Bud worked for companies including Wickes Lumber Company and Electrolux vacuum cleaners. He had a love for people, dancing, cowboy boots, eating out, attending church and mocha frappes. He was beloved by his church family at Faith Evangelical Church in Acton, with many affectionately referring to him as “Grampa.” He was very proud to be named as an honorary fire fighter with the Littleton Fire Department.

He is survived by his sons: David Flint (Lois) of Merrimack, NH, Dana Flint, David Hanson (Linda) of Nottingham, NH and Peter Hanson (Karen) of Concord, MA. He was the proud grandfather of David Flint (Alison) of Merrimack, NH, Aaron Flint (Kim) of Goffstown, NH, Erika (Hanson) Burgher (Dan) of Bow, NH, Melissa (Hanson) Gorgenyi (Andre’) of Chelmsford, MA, Amanda Hanson of Lee, NH (Scott Grumbling); and loving great-grandfather of Paige and Tate Flint, Joshua and Sarah Burgher, Lewis, Jocelyn and Jacob Gorgenyi, and Bridget Grumbling.

He is also survived by many generous and faithful friends.

The family wishes to convey their gratitude to the men and women of the Littleton Fire Department as well as Patricia (Patty) and Wesley (Chuck) Wilkey for their compassionate care during Bud’s prolonged illness.
